Beat Stress with Essential Oils

Essential oils are commonly used today to help with stress and anxiety. One of the most popular oils with a fresh flora aroma is Lavender. It is known to have so many excellent benefits including reducing stress, calming agitation, alleviating insomnia, helping with concentrating, and improving ones skin. Lavender is a must have oil to have on hand at all times! 

Ways to use Lavender: 

  • Inhale directly for a calming effect. Put 2-3 drops on your wrist or on a napkin and take a deep breath
  • To relieve headaches place 1-2 drops on your temple. This should relieve tension and relax your body
  • Add a few drops to tea or water 
  • You can add 1-2 drops to your meals when cooking to add a flavorful twist
  • Add a drop to your pillow or bedding to feel more relaxed when trying to sleep
  • Add to bath water to help with skin irritations
  • Add Lavender to water and spray in house or car to freshen the air
