Probiotics and Multivitamins
Do you ever walk down a supplement/vitamin aisle at the store and feel overwhelmed by all the choices? I know I do. Even though you may be deficient in certain areas the first thing on your list should be probiotics. This is the good bacteria that helps maintain digestion and boost the immune system. You want to maintain a healthy balance of good bacteria in your body so taking a probiotic with multiple strains is ideal. With these multiple strains there is a better chance of fighting off the bad bacteria and health conditions can be improved as well. One of the best times to take a probiotic is when you are on antibiotics. During this time, the amount of good and bad bacteria can be disrupted so it's a good idea to boost the good bacteria when on medication.
The next thing on your list should be a multivitamin. This way you are getting all the vitamins and minerals that could be missing from your diet. You will be filling those nutritional gaps all while boosting your health. We aren't always getting what we need in our food so a multivitamin can make up for it. Multivitamins are good for your heart, can reduce cancer risk, boosts immunity, supports eye health, healthy hair and better skin and overall is just good for overall health!
Going to the store and picking up some supplements shouldn't be as stressful now. Do your research on different brands and if you are unsure of anything talk with your doctor first.
